Team & Leadership

Within Excel™ I’ve helped build the Tech and Data teams from scratch, iterating over different team compositions, development strategies, systems, etc. I’ve lead and coached a team of 12 to perform at the highest standards. My passion for excellence, along with my methodic execution has helped foster a spirit of learning and a hunger for continuous improvement. Having operated the business for many years, I’ve seen first hand how technical debt can paralyze a business, how a good system can provide unprecedented agility, how simple is generally better, and how different solutions can be right or wrong for a business, depending on its maturity and needs. I’m privileged to have this role, where the lessons are so abundant.
